YEAH!!!!! the painting is now done. They still have a few little touch ups to do. OMG we are neally there. I am stoke with how great it all looks. The colours we picked work perfectly. Now I cant wait for my glass splash back to go up. The tiler will be there on tuesday for 2 days. we should have the keys in a few weeks. YEAH!!!!!
I have been doing some more card making. The Nautical one is my favorite. I am not overly impressed with the Dinosaur ones, I will have to keep playing with my stamps.
The kitchen was delivered on friday in bits and put in on Saturday. It looks fantastic (minus the bench top) I am so glad we decided to go with the pot drawers, they look great.
The bricks are finally finished, they look fantastic. Especially now that they have been washed. The colours all work so well together (even if I do say so myself). All the internal doors are now on and the painter has started. They started by patching all of the architraves. Now they have undercoated them. He will be there for a couple of weeks and then the tiler is coming, we should then find out when settlement is. YEAH!!!!
HOORAY!!!!! I had 5 minutes to do some card making. I think it has inspired me to make more. A very good friend of the family her son is turning 18. I am so happy with how it turned out. I may even make some more.
The cornice is up, in the living areas it is fancy stuff the rest is standard. I wish I had the fancy stuff everywhere. All of the doors have been delivered and so have all the architraves. Within the next few days they will all be done. YEAH!!!!
The bricks seem to be taking forever. They are up to the finishing touches around the window. They have run out of bricks, so when more arrive they can finish.
I have not yet figured out how to write on the photos yet. One of these days I will get photo shop. We use The gimp & I have tried & tried but have not yet figured it out.
Sorry... hit the wrong button before. I can't believe how fast they are doin all this stuff. Within 2 days the whole house was plastered. They just have the cornices & bottom thingys (architraves - probably spelt wrong) to go. Will post more photos soon
