They've Started Laying the Bricks!!!!!!!

YEAH!!!! They have started laying the bricks. Although I am not expecting them to do to much this week due to the heat. I am totally soooo happy with the colours we picked, now that the bricks are going up you can get a real feel of what it is going to look like when it's finished. The door frame from the garage out to the backyard has gone in, so has the cavity for the sliding door for the pantry. So are the door handles.

We have doors!!!!!

We went down to the block tonight, and we have doors (not they wont stay that colour) I don't think it will be long and we will be locked out.

The green one with the 4 panels of glass is our front door. The white on is from garage into house. The green one that is half glass is the back (laundry) door. The bath hob (where the bath sits in) is also in. Our bricks will start going up next week. OMG!!! its going so fast.

No Major changes

We went down to the block last night, but there were no changes to the outside. They had been doing more work on the plumbing. We will go down tonight to see if there has been any changes. I feel so sorry for the guys having to work in this heat. YUK!!!!!!!

I am so over the heat (we only have a little portable air con that cools one room. I am counting down the days until my house is ready.

More roof tiles and the Bi-Fold doors

There are now the corner finishing touch thingys on the roof tiles. (I am not very technical) Our Bi-fold doors were put in yesterday, YEAH!!!!

The last 2 photos are of the back of the house, the doorway is our laundry.

I can't wait to move in.

Our house ready for roof tiles

This is the next stage in our house. There has been extra timber on the roof ready for the roof tiles to go on. There is also green stuff all over the outside walls of the house. It's really starting to feel like a house now. It's all happening so fast. If I don't go down every day I miss something.

This is just before our slab was poured.
